Nadowli Women's Weaving Association
The Nadowli Women’s Weaving Association is a group of about 60 textile weavers living in and around the Nadowli and Wa township in the Upper West Region of Ghana.
The association is a self-help community within which they provide a forum for mutual exchange of ideas, share best practices and tips on common issues in business and community, identify opportunities, address challenges and capacity development and learn new skills.
By strengthening their knowledge of the weaving ecosystem, they can reach buyers over the world, become market leaders, and set and implement standards and guidelines for technical equipment employed within their industry.
